Laura W. Jennings was born in Austin, Texas and raised in Kennesaw, Georgiaand Plano, Texas.  She graduated from the Universityof Oklahoma summa cum laude with a degree in business economics and a Spanish minor in 2007.  During college, she studied at La Universidad Complutense in Madrid, Spain.  She also enjoyed playing with the Pride of Oklahoma Marching Band.

She earned her J.D. from the Baylor University School of Law in 2010 with a concentration in administrative practice.  During law school, Laura interned with Catholic Charities Immigration Legal Services in Waco,Texas and assisted Professor David Swenson with his antitrust class.  Laura has been a member of the State Bar of Texas since 2010 and is conversational in Spanish.  She joined Reina & Bates in September 2011.

In her spare time, Laura serves on the board of directors for Journey of  Hope Grief Support Center in Plano, a non-profit that provides group grief support for children and teens.
