Hispanic Champion at the Dallas Half Marathon

The Dallas Half Marathon held last weekend in downtown Dallas became a good show and a great opportunity for a young athlete of great character and discipline.

Gabriel Zambrano, a 24 year old Mexican-America, was not too confident to participate in the marathon, not having had time to train adequately due to his work schedule.

Gabriel showed strength of character and determination, running in first place and without turning his head once. The winner received a cash prize of $500.00, plus $250 for being a local athlete.
