Applications and Renovations of U.S. Passports

According to recent information from USCIS, it is recommended that all applications for new United States passports or renovations be done before January 2018.

The last months of the year starting September, known as the passport month, is when the number of applicants increases exponentially, possibly reaching some 20 million this year.

One of the reasons for the increase this year are the new security measures included on the drivers’ license, which up to the present has been the valid document for travel within the United States.  If the drivers’ license has not been renewed recently, a valid passport must be shown when travelling.Bola contact

It is no longer necessary to request an appointment to renew or apply for a U.S. passport; this can be done by mail, as long as the passport has not expired.

Before filing any form or application with the United States Immigration and Citizenship Services (USCIS) you should consult with a licensed attorney, authorized and experienced in handling cases before these agencies.

When you consult with an immigration attorney it is important that you are able to speak with an actual attorney. No one besides an attorney is able to give you legal advice, even an attorney’s assistant cannot give you legal advice, you must speak with an actual licensed attorney. You must also be able to understand the attorney. The attorney must either speak a language you understand or have a competent interpreter that will allow you to understand what the attorney is saying. If you cannot communicate with the attorney they will not be able to provide you safe advice. Never hire an attorney that you have not spoken with.

Speaking with an experienced and skilled immigration attorney is the first step when dealing with any immigration issue. An experienced attorney authorized to practice immigration law in Dallas, throughout Texas, and in all fifty states can assure that your case moves forward as quickly as possible and is handled correctly.
