Immigrant Mothers Reach Agreement with State of Texas

An agreement was reached with the State of Texas, after more than one year of litigation, to guarantee that all U.S, children born in Texas receive birth certificates.

This is a victory, thanks to the courage of 62 immigrant mothers who spoke up against the state’s discriminatory policy and these mothers will not withdraw the lawsuit until the agreement is put into effect.
