Civics Practice Test now offered in Spanish

Starting on November 19, 2015, USCIS has added an online Spanish civics practice test for applicants preparing for their naturalization as American citizens.

The civics test which focuses on basic U.S. government and history, is normally given in English. Now the questions will be presented in English with Spanish subtitles to assist Spanish speaking lawful permanent residents to better grasp and retain the information and at the same time improve their knowledge of the English language.

These practice tests can be found on the USCIS website at uscis.gov together with other resources to assist applicants with the immigration process. Online classes are also available for English and citizenship information on my.uscis.gov as well as options to determine eligibility when applying for naturalization.

Additional customer service features can also be found on the USCIS website, including access on a mobile phone computer and other electronic devices.
