Migrant Caravan Continues to Grow as it Reaches the U.S.

The migrant caravan continued its trek to the U.S. border, originating from several Central American countries, crossing through Mexico to reach the Mexican town of Tijuana on the border.

The caravan was initially organized five years ago by a group “people without Borders”, to make the world aware of the situation and to highlight the suffering of asylum seekers that exist in countries like Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador.

The first small group of migrants including 3 mothers and 4 children to cross the border waiting for the authorities to determine whether they will be granted asylum to enter the U.S. According to reports from organizers at the border, many asylum-seeking migrants are determined to remain outside an immigration processing center until “every last one” is admitted into this country.
