17 States Oppose President Obama’s Executive Action

A coalition of 17 States yesterday presented a lawsuit demanding that the Courts block measures presented by President Barak Obama last November 20.

This coalition claims that the implementation of these new immigration measures is unconstitutional and will create economic problems when passed next year in the United States.

The Governor of Texas, Greg Abbot, is leading the group formed by 16 other States, which are: North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama, Idaho, Kansas, Maine, Montana, Utah, South Dakota, Wisconsin, West Virginia, Nebraska, Mississippi, Louisiana, Indiana and Georgia.

The Administration argues that the President of the United States has the right to make and take Executive action on this issue.
