European Parliament votes to End Visa-Free Travel for Americans

The European Parliament recently voted to repeal visa-free travel for American planning to visit countries within Europe Union. This is in response to a recent U.S. rule requiring that citizens of five European countries obtain visas to enter the U.S. Up until now U.S. citizens could travel within Europe without a visa.

Executive Order to Review H-1B Immigration Visas

United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) announced that as of April 7, 2017 it has filled the statuary cap of 65,000 visas for 2018. During the filing period which opened on April 3, USCIS received 199,000 H-1B petitions.
